Los Angeles is home to
many technologically sophisticated companies with demanding
needs requiring application of a broad range of graphics
programs. Besides the use of Illustrator, Photoshop,
Framemaker and Quark Xpress, Performance Graphics has
created projects using MacroMind Director, Adobe Premiere,
Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Persuasion, and 3-D modelling programs
like Infini-D and Adobe Dimensions.
We created corporate
identification manuals for Lockheed Martin and 21st Century
Insurance.
We are graphics
consultants to The Metropolitan Water District of Southern
California (since 1990) for whom we have helped produce
CD-ROMs, on-screen presentation sequences, animation
sequences for video transfer, and for whom much of our
research and development in Adobe Acrobat and the PDF format
has been applied.
In 1999, we produced a
CD-ROM for Xerox Corporation, titled "DocuPrint
NPS/IPS Interactive Customer
Documentation" for
which we designed the interface, converted 46 FrameMaker
books to PDF format, and mastered the CD-ROM for
distribution.
